Being the only grandfathered mine within Waco city limits provides logistical advantages that benefit our customers.

From raw materials to ready-mix and asphalt, we offer a wide range of products and services to support your projects.

Under the leadership of James Springer Jr., we are expanding our reach and enhancing our offerings to better serve Central Texas.
Dollins Materials Company, originally known as Dollins Sand & Gravel, was founded in 2006 by Jim and Debbie Dollins. They supplied construction materials to local companies around Waco and McLennan County, leveraging their unique position as the only grandfathered mine within Waco city limits. This logistical advantage allowed them to serve their customers efficiently.
Jim and Debbie worked tirelessly together—Jim handling sales and Debbie managing accounting—to build lasting relationships with many customers who are still with us today. Although Jim and Debbie have since passed on, they left behind a robust foundation.
To honor their legacy, Dollins Materials Company was established, with a renewed focus on service and vertical integration. “today their grandson James Springer Jr. leads the company while providing significant investment aiming to expand operations across central Texas and provide enhanced value to customers with a diverse range of products that will include
washed aggregates, ready-mix, and asphalt.
“ We have an edge on the competition, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Dollins Materials and those apart of our journey.”
